Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated October 2, 2026
The short version
- We collect only what you choose to send us, plus the basic technical information every website needs to work securely.
- No analytics, no advertising trackers, and no cookies on this website.
- We never sell your personal information or share it for targeted advertising.
- You can ask us to see, correct, or delete your information at any time.
1. Who we are
TurboCycle Media, LLC (“TurboCycle Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an Arizona limited liability company based in Phoenix, Arizona. We make apps for Apple devices and provide DJ, audio-visual production, web design, and social media services. We are the party responsible for the personal information described in this policy.
2. What this policy covers
This policy applies to information we collect through turbocyclemedia.com (the “Site”), through our contact form and email, and when you book or work with us for our services. It does not cover our apps, which have their own privacy policies (see Our apps), or websites and services run by others.
3. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact form and email: your name, email address, the topic you choose, an event date if you add one, your message, and anything else you decide to include.
- Bookings and projects: if you hire us, the details needed to deliver the work, such as names, phone number, event date and venue, music requests, project requirements, and billing details on invoices and agreements.
- Payments: payments are handled by our bank or payment provider. We see confirmation of payment and the last few digits of a card where the provider shares them, but we don’t store full card numbers.
Information collected automatically
- Technical and security data: like every website, our hosting and Cloudflare process your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, and the time of each request to deliver the Site, keep it secure, and prevent abuse. Our server keeps these logs for a short time (see retention).
- Spam protection: the contact form stores a private, one-way code derived from your IP address to limit how many messages can be sent in an hour. We don’t store the IP address itself, and the code can’t be turned back into it.
Information we don’t collect
We don’t knowingly collect sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information, or precise location through the Site. Please don’t send it to us.
4. How we use information
- To reply to your messages and answer your questions.
- To check availability, prepare quotes, and plan, provide, and support the services you book.
- To send invoices, receive payments, and keep business, tax, and accounting records.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Site, and to detect and prevent spam, fraud, and abuse.
- To comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, and protect our rights and the safety of others.
We don’t use your information for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you, and we don’t send marketing emails unless you ask us to.
5. Legal bases (EEA and UK)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases: performance of a contract (to provide services you book or take steps you request before booking), legitimate interests (to reply to messages, run and secure the Site, and prevent abuse, balanced against your rights), legal obligation (for tax and accounting records), and consent where we ask for it, which you can withdraw at any time.
8. How long we keep information
| Information | How long |
|---|---|
| Contact-form messages and email | Up to 2 years after our last conversation, then deleted. |
| Booking, project, and invoice records | As long as needed for the work, then up to 7 years for tax and accounting. |
| Spam-protection codes | Kept with the message they belong to. |
| Server logs | About 7 days, unless needed to investigate abuse. |
You can ask us to delete your information sooner, unless we must keep it to meet a legal obligation.
9. Security
The Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. Contact messages are stored outside the public website on our server, with access limited to us. We keep software up to date and use service providers with strong security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can’t guarantee absolute security; if we learn of a breach that affects you, we’ll notify you as the law requires.
10. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know and access the personal information we hold about you, and get a copy in a portable format.
- Correct information that’s inaccurate.
- Delete your information.
- Object to or restrict certain uses, and withdraw consent where we rely on it.
- Opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or profiling (though we don’t do any of these).
- Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.
To make a request, use our contact form and choose “Privacy or legal request.” We’ll confirm your request, may ask for information to verify your identity (usually just a reply from the email address you gave us), and respond within the time the law requires, generally 30 to 45 days. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. If we decline your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision; if you’re still not satisfied, you can contact your state attorney general or local data protection authority.
11. US state privacy notice
This section supplements the policy for residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws, including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and others. In the past 12 months we have collected these categories of personal information, from you and from your device, for the purposes in How we use information:
- Identifiers such as your name, email address, phone number, and IP address.
- Commercial information such as services booked and invoices.
- Internet or network activity such as server log data.
- Other information you choose to share in messages, such as event details.
We disclose these categories only to the service providers and advisors listed in How we share information. We don’t sell or share personal information, don’t use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require an opt-out, and have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing information of anyone under 16.
12. International visitors
We’re based in the United States, and the Site and our service providers process information in the United States and other countries. If you contact us from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the US, where privacy laws may differ from those where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as our providers’ standard contractual clauses.
13. Children
The Site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it. Bookings for events must be made by an adult.
14. Our apps
Each of our apps has its own privacy policy, linked from its App Store page, that explains what that app collects. For example, see the Santa Toolbox privacy policy. Purchases and downloads from the App Store are handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
15. Other websites
The Site links to services we don’t control, such as the App Store, Instagram, Facebook, and X. Their own privacy policies apply when you visit them.
16. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. We’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. If we make a significant change, we’ll make it clear on the Site.
17. Contact us
