About me
Hi, I’m Justin
I’m a developer, DJ, and audio-visual technician in Phoenix, originally from Mountain View, California. I’ve spent more than a decade in media and live events — from digital media director at The Pulse 88.7 FM to technical lead on corporate and hospitality productions.
I shipped my first iPhone app in 2014. Today TurboCycle Media has nine apps across iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple Vision Pro, and I still design every screen, write every line of code, and answer every support email myself.
Whether it’s an app, a website, or a dance floor, I sweat the details so the result just works — and people enjoy it.

Why it’s called TurboCycle
Patrick Heintz · 1969–2023
TurboCycle was my dad’s name online — the username he used everywhere, for as long as I can remember. Born in Chicago and raised in Mesa, he built his career in California as a New Product Introduction Engineer. He passed away from kidney cancer in April 2023.
He was everyone’s go-to for fixing computers, and he patiently taught anyone who asked. He loved a perfectly cooked steak, traveled to China so often he learned to speak Chinese, and was a proud dad and grandpa.
His love of figuring out how things work is a big part of why I build what I build. Every app I ship and every set I play under TurboCycle carries a little piece of him.
